Short-Term Residential Treatment

Short Term Residential – The Short Term Residential Treatment Facility (SRT) is a co-ed adult inpatient unit providing services to individuals with a mental health diagnosis and/or co-occurring substance abuse diagnosis. SRT provides a high level of care for individuals who are no longer experiencing a psychiatric emergency but who are still in need of additional inpatient treatment prior to community placement. SRT also serves clients waiting for placement at the state hospital. The length of stay on SRT varies but the average is usually 3 months.
