National Voter Registration Act
The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) enacted in 1995 introduced national procedures for voter registration by designated governmental or public entities. It requires agencies to offer voter registration opportunities at the same time as application for agency’s services. As part of the contract with CFCHS, network providers are to report on voter registration activity on a quarterly schedule.
