Brevard: Free 1-Day Motivational Interviewing Training

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is defined as an effective and evidence-based approach to overcoming the ambivalence that keeps many people from making desired changes in their lives (Miller & Rollnick 2002). This workshop will offer behavioral health practitioners an advanced level of MI practical applications though real-world examples and audience participation. Attendees will gain through understanding the best practice use of Motivational Interviewing and receive valuable tools. The workshop will be interactive and thought-provoking with regards to addressing ambivalence and motivating the individuals served to foster motivation for change.
