Baker Act Assessment and Verbal De-escalation in Crisis Situations

Attendees will learn the criteria for Baker Act examination and admissions and how to address suicidal ideation. This webinar will include examples for establishing connections with individuals to quickly de-escalate those in crisis. Participants will also learn de-escalation techniques and strategies for diverting Baker Act involuntary hospitalization.
